A note from the artist:
"For the illustration of the tragic ending of the play it will be composed of many different things happening at once. The shadows and shading will show the intensity of the scene, and how King Claudius plotted to poison Hamlet. The characters will be in motion and the feelings of each person will be seen through the facial expressions and body language of the people. Hamlet will look unaware of what is being planned behind his back. Gertrude will be proud of her son and drinking wine to his health and honor. King Claudius is going to be worried, however he is trying to keep his composure while he watches his wife drink to her death."
