Final Project - Claudius' Diary Entry
A note from the artist:
"I chose Act 3.3 Claudius' confession because that is the turning point of the play where throughout every part that has led up to that Hamlet has never been sure if it was true. It drew me more into the play because I wanted to know what Hamlet would do next. It also drew me in to know what Claudius would do just knowing that his own brother's son knew he murdered his father. The tone that I used is worried and fearful. I also wanted him to still seem like a conniving person plotting and scheming."

This is a really neat way of demonstrating your understanding! I absolutely love the last sentense...I can sense the struggle he is having. Good job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful language and writing style - you really embody the depth of this character's fear.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you put yourself in Claudius' position - the guilt, the remorse, the desperation to save himself. Well done.
ReplyDeleteSince the play is all about Hamlet and his point of view, putting in Claudius' point of view is such a great idea! The writing is beautiful and I really liked that it is in the form of a diary entry!
