Today in class we are watching the entirety of Act II, leading up to Hamlet's soliloquy that we have studied this week. There are 5 questions due to me for a grade - they are listed below.
- Describe Ophelia's interaction with her father Polonius - what does she tell him?
- Who arrives at Elsinore on Claudius's orders, and why are they there?
- What does Polonius show to Claudius and Gertrude?
- What is Hamlet's attitude toward Polonius in their scene together?
- Who arrives in court and causes excitement, and how does Hamlet react?
