Today in class we are watching the entirety of Act II, leading up to Hamlet's soliloquy that we have studied this week. There are 5 questions due to me for a grade - they are listed below.

  1. Describe Ophelia's interaction with her father Polonius - what does she tell him?
  2. Who arrives at Elsinore on Claudius's orders, and why are they there?
  3. What does Polonius show to Claudius and Gertrude? 
  4. What is Hamlet's attitude toward Polonius in their scene together?
  5. Who arrives in court and causes excitement, and how does Hamlet react?
